Begin with a few paint chips to ensure you’ve perfected the process, making any necessary adjustments before tackling the entire vehicle. Step 1 - Apply the Paint
Thoroughly Shake the Paint Bottle
Shake the paint bottle until the color is well-mixed. Keep in mind that some colors may look different in the bottle or when first applied, but they will match perfectly once spread flat into the chip. Continue with the process even if the color appears slightly off, as you can always remove it later if necessary.Apply a Small Amount of Paint
Apply a small amount of paint to the panel next to the chips or directly to the underside of the beveled edge of the squeegee.Spread the Paint Over the Chips
Pull the paint squeegee at a 45-degree angle to spread the paint smoothly over the chip(s). The paint should lay flat with minimal excess accumulating outside the chip area. The paint will adhere to the squeegee, allowing you to pick up the paint and apply it to other chips as needed. Reapply as necessary.Allow the Paint to Dry
Let the paint dry for at least a few minutes before proceeding to the next step. The paint should be dry to the touch. For larger or deeper chips, allow more drying time as the paint at the bottom of the chip may still be wet.

Step 2 - Remove Excess Paint
Now it’s time to remove any excess paint around the chips for a seamless finish.
Apply the Blending Solution
Shake the Pink Stuff blending solution well and apply it to a folded blending cloth or a soft T-shirt rag. Moderately saturate an area approximately 2″ x 2″—avoid soaking the rag.Gently Remove Excess Paint
Hold the cloth flat against the panel using several fingers, not just one, to avoid digging the paint out. Lightly rub over the chip, allowing the solution to do most of the work. After a few attempts, you’ll understand how much pressure you can apply without removing the paint from the chips, speeding up the process.Melt Away Excess Paint
You will see the excess paint begin to dissolve while the paint remains in the chips. Once the excess paint is removed, quickly hand-buff the area with a microfiber towel to eliminate any residual blending solution. If a haze forms that can’t be buffed out, apply more solution and buff again until the area shines.Let the Paint Dry
Allow the paint to dry for a few minutes before proceeding to the next step. The paint should be dry to the touch. For larger or deeper chips, allow more drying time, as the paint at the bottom of the chip may still be wet.
